Nick Cannon Split with Kim Kardashian Over Sex Tape

Six years after splitting with Kim Kardashian, Nick Cannon came clean last week during an interview with Howard Stern. Asked about his 2006 relationship with the reality star, Cannon actually had glowing things to say - but also admitted that the infamous Kim Kardashian sex tape was to blame for the couple's demise.

 

"She told me there was no tape," Cannon said. “If she might have been honest with me, I might have tried to hold her down and be like ‘That was before me,’ because she is a great girl." Cannon went on to label Kardashian as "one of the nicest people you'll ever meet," but emphasized that the lie did them in. The America's Got Talent host - who has two adorable kids with Mariah Carey, Monroe and Moroccan - also made the STUNNING accusation that Kim may have played a role in the Ray J video release. Kim was “a great businesswoman” he said, adding: “And I still think she might have even had a part to play with [it going public].” Shocking, we know. Kanye West to Krash Kardashian Khristmas

Left out of the Kardashian family Christmas card, Kanye West will not be left out of the clan's annual holiday tradition. Speaking to E! News, Rob Kardashian detailed how he and his relatives handle December 25 every year, from a "really big party" on Christmas Even to everyone sleeping over at the house and waking up at 6 a.m. the next morning. "They all make breakfast, all the girls. We watch basketball. It's a family day."

And will the man who may someday slip a ring on the finger of Kim Kardashian be included? "Christmas is home, so everyone will be home and we'll all hang out together," Rob confirmed. Guess that means Scott Disick will be there, too. Sorry, everyone else.

Victoria Soto, Connecticut Teacher, Dies a Hero Saving Students

Out of the horror of the Connecticut school shooting Friday came incredible acts of selflessness and bravery by teachers willing to sacrifice everything for their students. Kaitlin Roig was able to save her 14 students by barricading them in the closet. She also survived. Victoria Soto was just as heroic, but not so fortunate.

Soto, 27, a first-grade teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary School, ushered her students into a closet, placing her body between them and shooter Adam Lanza. "She was found huddled over her children, her students, doing instinctively what she knew was the right thing," her cousin Jim Wiltsie tells ABC News. "I'm proud that Vicki had the instincts to protect her kids from harm. It brings peace to know she was doing what she loved, protecting the children, and, in our eyes, she's a hero." Victoria Soto was among the six adults, all women, killed in the Connecticut shooting massacre that also took the lives of 20 children, 12 girls and eight boys. The gunman, 20-year-old Adam Lanza, took his own life. His mother was also killed in a different location, bringing the Newtown, Conn., death toll to 28 in all. "It doesn't surprise me at all that she would do this," Sabeena Ali, the parent of a girl who was in Soto's class two years ago, tells People magazine. Ali calls Soto a "vibrant young woman who loved the kids and would be with the kids and spend time with them and sit on the floor with them." Two years later, her daughter - now a third-grader - still idolized Soto. "Every day there was some new Miss Soto story we had to listen to: 'This is what she did, this is how wonderful she was today,'" says Ali. "She would bring in snacks for the kids and do special days."

Kate Middleton Nurse Hung Herself, Left Three Suicide Notes

Jacintha Saldanha, the nurse who committed suicide after the now-infamous Kate Middleton prank call left three notes before hanging herself, officials say. London authorities have released heartbreaking, disturbing new details about the December 7 suicide of Saldanha, a 46-year-old married mother of two.

A member of the coroner's office said that a hospital employee found Saldanha hanging by a scarf from a wardrobe in her room near King Edward VII Hospital. Detective James Harman also noted that Saldanha had injuries to her wrists, and two notes were found on the scene, and a third one near Saldanha's belongings. In investigating Jacintha Saldanha's suicide, authorities will analyze the notes, interview friends, family and colleagues and review emails and phone calls. Coroner Fiona Wilcox adjourned the case until March 26, expressing "my sympathies to her family and everybody who has been touched by this tragic death." Saldanha is survived by husband Ben Barboza, and their children, Junal, 17, and Lisha, 14. As Middleton, 30, was being treated for acute morning sickness, Saldanha answered the phone when two Australian DJs pranked the hospital last week. The Australian DJs impersonated Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles. Fooled by the hoax, Saldanha did as "they" requested, transferring the call to a colleague, who revealed confidential information about the pregnant royal. The DJs may face a probe in the case, but say they did nothing wrong - legally. They have publicly apologized for the Kate Middleton prank call, calling themselves "shattered, gutted, heartbroken" over Saldanha's suicide. Their show has also been canceled after they suspended themselves.

Kate Middleton "Feeling Better" But Still Hospitalized With Morning Sickness

The pregnant Kate Middleton is “feeling better” after spending her second day hospitalized by severe morning sickness, but remains there at this time. Prince William, who reportedly spent hours with her yesterday, is “immensely grateful for the good wishes they have received,” a spokesman added.

Her parents, Michael and Carole, are reportedly “elated” about William getting Kate Middleton pregnant, but understandably worried about her condition. Carole Middleton and Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton, also visited the queasy Duchess Tuesday. The Middletons found out Kate was expecting over the weekend when she began vomiting violently and a worried William drove her home to London. Queen Elizabeth II found out later Monday after William and Kate raced to the hospital, where the stricken princess was diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum, or HG. The malady impacts one in 50 expectant moms and can make pregnancy torture, but is not harmful to the baby; some speculate Kate may be expecting twins. Citing royal sources, the Daily Mail reported the Duchess is holding her own “but her symptoms of severe vomiting may last for much of her pregnancy.” Kate, who is 30 and believed to be about 12 weeks pregnant, is expected to remain in the hospital for several more days followed by a “period of rest” at home. She is reportedly on an IV drip to combat her dehydration and taking pills to stop the nausea. Here's wishing the lovely Duchess the best under the difficult physical circumstances, along with our congratulations on the forthcoming royal baby in 2013!

Kate Middleton: Pregnant With Twins?!

Along with Monday's joyous announcement that Kate Middleton is pregnant came news from the palace that the Duchess is in the hospital with severe morning sickness. Hyperemesis gravidarum is a rare, acute morning sickness resulting in weight loss; it accounts for about 2 percent of all morning sickness, according to doctors.

The condition is sometimes associated with women having twins, experts say. Hyperemesis gravidarum is believed to be caused by higher levels of the pregnancy hormone, hCG; Extra hCG can often be brought on by carrying more than one fetus. In other words, it could be a sign that Kate Middleton is pregnant with twins. Although there's very little data to go on, one study showed that women carrying twins had a 7.5 percent higher risk of experiencing the acute morning sickness. In any case, it poses little danger to the tiny heir(s), doctors said. Women diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum often lose 5 percent of their pre-pregnancy weight, or 10 pounds, but it is not indicative of troubling complications. It's traditionally thought that nausea and vomiting is a sign of a healthy pregnancy, even. That's not to say it isn't brutal for the mother-to-be to live through. Dr. Nancy Cossler, an OB/GYN at University Hospitals in Ohio, said the condition does not cause loss of pregnancy or birth defects, but is torture to endure. "The biggest problem with this is how it interferes with your life," Cossler said. "Constantly feeling sick and puking is obviously unpleasant and difficult." The extreme morning sickness is usually diagnosed about nine weeks into the pregnancy, and in most cases resolves itself by 16-20 weeks, according to experts. Kate Middleton's pregnancy is likely around the 12-week mark at this time. "As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter," St. James Palace said. Prince William is at the hospital with Middleton, according to news reports. If she were carrying twins, the first-born would be the heir to the throne, regardless of gender. One can imagine the twins fighting in the whom over that distinction!

Kim Kardashian Kreates Khaos, Protests in Bahrain

According to The Associated Press, Kim Kardashian's visit to Bahrain has resulted in a bit of an uproar, as protests broke out just as this reality star was set to open a Millions of Milkshakes store in the area. And, no, they were not over this ridiculous Kim Kardashian outfit, donned by the brunette in Kuwait.

Kardashian fueled the fire when she Tweeted that Bahrain was "the prettiest place on earth," a remark re-Tweeted by that country's foreign minister. We really wish we were making that up. A reporter for The Associated Press witnessed protesters chanting "God is Great" near the shopping complex in Riffa where the milkshake shop was scheduled to open; they were cleared prior to Kardashian arriving there today. Before she departed, Kardashian created quite a stir when weighed in on the conflict between Israel and Palestine. She really has to get the heck out of there. We're pretty sure the Middle East doesn't need another reason to break into chaos.

Shakira: No Makeup, Just Baby Bump!

Shakira recently posted an adorable Instagram photo of herself rocking no makeup, an adorable baby bump and one content boyfriend, Gerard Pique. Here's the cute, expectant couple at home today:

The new Voice mentor, 35, and soccer player Gerard Pique, 25, sure look happy. "I could have another nine months like this," the Colombian singer wrote. He got Shakira pregnant earlier this year. She announced her pregnancy September 19 via Facebook. "Shakira is really looking forward to being a mother," a source close to the international superstar said. "They definitely want more than one together." The "Tortura" singer will welcome a baby boy. Shakira and Pique met while in 2010 shooting the video for her World Cup theme song, "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)." Shakira will join Usher as a new mentor for The Voice Season 4; the musicians, who have already begun filming, will fill in for Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green. In the meantime, she'll go on being effortlessly attractive, even while pregnant. Some stars.

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez are BFFs. And now they have something unfortunate in common. Gomez faced numerous death threats when her relationship with Justin Bieber first went public - and now Swift is undergoing the same disturbing treatment.

Taylor was spotted getting cozy with Harry Styles backstage at The X Factor on Thursday. Are they an item? It's possible. Is hand-holding a valid excuse for threatening the life of a stranger? We don't believe so, but a few One Direction fans have taken to Twitter and posted such unsettling messages as: “I’ll murder Taylor Swift. She will not date my Harry." "If u dating my harry, I kill u.” We're guessing/hoping these are empty threats, but come on people. Access to a keyboard does not give you an excuse to sound like a psychopath.

It's a Boy for Tamera Mowry!

The former star of Sister Sister is now a mother for the first time. Tamera Mowry and husband Adam Housely welcomed a son named Aden John Tanner into the world Monday, sources confirm to Us Weekly. The little one weighed in at nine pounds, five ounces.

Mowry's equally famous sibling, Tia, is also the proud mother of a young son: Cree was born June 28, 2011. "When my sister was pregnant, she told me everything that I needed to know about pregnancy," Tamera joked last year, adding that Tia's TMI stories actually encouraged her NOT to get knocked up. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Break Up!

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have broken up after dating for over a year and a half. It's over. The split to end all celebrity gossip splits took place last week. Selena, apparently, was the one who ended it.

Says a source close to the cute, former couple: "She broke up with him about a week ago. With them being apart so much it got complicated. She had some trust issues. It's not easy, but the relationship needed to end." It's unclear what "trust issues" those were, or if their breakup, which was first reported by E! News, was prompted by anything more than the strain of long distance. Selena, 20, and Justin, 18, went public in February 2011. They fought off breakup rumors on numerous occasions since then but seemed relatively stable, frequently going on dates and looking very happy together. He was recently linked to Barbara Palvin, however. Major red flag. Many rabid Bieber fans, affectionately or pejoratively known as Beliebers, have had it in for Selena Gomez since day one, attacking her 24/7 via the Internet. "It hurts, it really does," she admitted this year. "I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong. I've been best friends with him for a very long time. It does hurt my feelings a lot, but I try not to focus on it." Not a problem anymore, at least. Silver lining?

It may not be over, but it's far from real, either. While rumors of a Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber break-up have quieted, a new report claims the relationship is merely a sham.

It simply "isn't the fairytale romance they'd like their fans to believe it is," a supposed friend of the couple's tells Radar Online. So why are they even together? As Andre Agassi once said: image. It's everything. "Justin's heart is with Selena because she's his first true love," claims this mole. "But Selena is pretty much just riding out the relationship because she knows he's good for her image." And Gomez's team is reportedly on board with this unfair plan. "Dating Justin is good for Selena's brand. Together they're a brand!" the source concluded. "Everyone in Selena's camp is aware of Justin's star power and is urging her to make it work with him." Mila Kunis to Star in Fifty Shades of Grey Movie?

Will Mila Kunis star in the sexy Fifty Shades of Grey movie trilogy? That's the current buzz going around. The Black Swan actress and Esquire Sexiest Woman Alive is allegedly the frontrunner to play Anastasia Steele. Emphasis on allegedly. The Kunis rumor looks to be just that.

One addition to the 50 Shades team that has been confirmed is Kelly Marcel, who will pen the screen adaptation. Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti are on board to produce. Fantasy casting the two leads in the movie version of the S&M-filled, Twilight fan fiction-inspired saga has become a favorite online pastime in recent months. Kunis' possible casting is sure to inspire strong opinions.

Christina Aguilera has been getting a lot of attention for her booty-ful figure these days, and she's the farthest thing from apologetic about any weight gain. In fact, the "Your Body" singer proudly calls herself a "fat girl."

But now, she says she's done with all that: "I told them during Lotus [her new album], 'You are working with a fat girl. Know it and get over it.' They need a reminder sometimes that I don't belong to them. It's my body." "My body can't put anyone in jeopardy of not making money. My body is not on the table that way." Lady Gaga Called a Drug-Glorifying "Slut" By Staten Island Borough President

James P. Molinaro just pissed off 25 million Little Monsters and possibly women everywhere. The Staten Island borough president called Lady Gaga a slut yesterday. In what context, you ask?

To kick off an anti-drug abuse initiative, Molinaro showed off a poster-sized photo of Gaga smoking marijuana on stage in Amsterdam (where it is legal) this month. He said: "We have to understand there's a tremendous influence with our youth, which I didn't have as a youth. And there's the influence right there. Stop glorifying drug use." "There's Gaga. Here's this ... I'd call her a slut. This slut is influencing many, many children." Putting aside his point about marijuana and the obvious counterpoints - weed is legal in the Netherlands, so she broke no laws, and if you don't want Gaga influencing your kids, don't send them to Gaga concerts - the use of "slut" is beyond absurd. Not according to Molinaro, though. He looked it up! "Looking up the word 'slut' to see if it was properly used before I used it, it said 'improper conduct,'" Molinaro told the New York Times. "Now, isn't it improper for someone who is so high profile to be smoking reefer in front of children? I have grandnieces that idolize her - 12 and 13 years old - and it's ridiculous." Molinaro lost his son to an overdose in 2006, and one can certainly respect his anti-drug efforts as a public official to spare other families that unthinkable tragedy. Nevertheless, his word choice makes unfair assumptions about Lady Gaga's private life and perpetuates misogyny, while singling out a relatively harmless incident no less. Meanwhile, "slut" Lady Gaga revealed her ongoing struggle with eating disorders and offering support to young men and women who might be experiencing devastating body issues. What a horrible individual.

Lindsay Lohan: ARRESTED For Hit-and-Run on Pedestrian!

Channeling her inner Amanda Bynes, Lindsay Lohan was arrested this morning for leaving the scene of an accident after allegedly hitting a pedestrian in N.Y. City. According to TMZ, LiLo was pulling in to park her Porsche Cayenne near the Dream Hotel in downtown Manhattan when she drove into a guy's knee at low speed. This was around shortly after midnight this morning. Lindsay and her crew proceeded to enter the hotel, but somebody called the police, and when the actress walked out around 2:30 a.m., officers arrested her.

LL was booked for leaving the scene of an accident (a misdemeanor) and then released with a ticket. She didn't have to pay bail before she was cut loose. The alleged victim was hospitalized, but was not knocked down or dragged by the car, and had no visible injuries from the crash. Alcohol was not involved. Once again, the possibility of a probation violation is in play for Lindsay Lohan, who is required to obey all laws as a condition of her jewel theft sentence. Even without a conviction, Judge Stephanie Sautner could throw her ass in jail if there is probable cause that a crime was committed; this is unlikely, however. Sautner is tough but fair, and not likely to throw the book at Lohan without letting the situation play out in N.Y. Still, this mess is on thin ice yet again. Chris Zylka and Lucy Hale Split, Actor Tweets Bitterness Toward Ex

Chris Zylka and Lucy Hale have broken up. The actor and actress, who started dating in March, confirmed the split this week via Twitter. Not overly unusual for a couple in Hollywood, right? Except that the former Secret Circle star has also taken to that social network to express clear bitterness toward his ex.

"Don't have a girlfriend -- she decided she was too good," Zylka wrote, adding:"Never any disrespect towards anyone. Only if you say what you say you should stick to it. If you say you love then love." OUCH! ZING! The Pretty Little Liars actress has remained quiet about the split, but was forced to respond to rumors this week that she was actually dating Teen Wolf hunk Colton Haynes. "I've known him from my Privileged days, from The CW," Hale said of talk that she and Haynes were recently spotted together. "I don't meet a lot of genuine people in my life and he's a special kind of person, and I try to surround myself with people like that."

Kate Middleton Topless Scandal Ruling: French Court Demands Closer Destroy Pics

A French court has ruled in favor of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge regarding the Kate Middleton topless pics in Closer magazine, prohibiting all publication. However, the ruling does not apply to other magazines - Italy's Chi and Ireland's Daily Star have also ran with the topless and nude photos - outside of France. There's also the widespread dissemination of the photos via the Internet.

evertheless, the court called the invasion of Kate and Prince William's privacy a "brutal display" and ordered Closer to immediately turn over all copies of the pics. That includes digital copies. Failure to do so means a $13,100 fine. Per day. The palace has also filed a criminal complaint against those responsible for the Kate Middleton pictures ... whoever that might be. The photographer is still unknown. Whoever it was took the photos of Kate Middleton topless from a LONG distance away. As she sunbathed on the balcony of a French chateau with Prince William, Kate clearly had NO idea anyone was watching during their holiday at a private residence.

Kate Middleton, Prince William File Criminal Complaint Over Topless Pictures

Days after launching an injunction in a civil case against Closer magazine, Kate Middleton and Prince William have filed a criminal complaint in a French court.
Seeking justice against those who disseminated Kate Middleton topless photos last week, the complaint asks prosecutors to charge the paparazzo behind the shots.
Of course, there was no name listed in the royals' criminal complaint, as it's unclear who was responsible for taking the pics published in the celebrity gossip mag.

                     


Under French law, those convicted of violating Will and Kate's privacy - the unnamed paparazzo and Closer's editor, in theory - could face thousands of euros in fines.
A possible one-year jail sentence is also on the table, albeit unlikely.
As it happened, Closer removed the pics from its website on Friday shortly after being sued, and before the criminal complaint was even filed by the royals.
However, Closer's Italian sister publication, Chi, ran a 26-page spread today of Kate Middleton nude and topless images, many of them the same as Closer's.
A statement released by Mondadori, the group that owns Chi and Closer, defended the decisions made by the respective editors to run a report on the pictures:
"The publisher respects the arguments put forward by the editors."

Emily Maynard GUSHES Over Jef Holm

Jef Holm and Emily Maynard have certainly been put to the test ever since The Bachelorette ended, but so far, they have passed that test with flying colors.
Between rumors of Emily cheating and the ever-present Bachelor curse (i.e. no one on the show actually stays together), things may not have looked good.
Good thing is, no one bothered to tell them that.

              


Not only are they not breaking up, they can't stand to be apart, according to E! News, which heard it from the southern belle and Jef Holm themselves last week.
Said Emily Maynard of her husband-to-be:
"It's so crazy how easy it is for me to be around him and um, you're with somebody a lot and you're together a lot and they start to get on your nerves a little bit."
"He does not get on my nerves! We can be together all the time and only leave each other to go to the bathroom, and I will miss him while I'm in the bathroom."
Safe to say she's probably not sexting other men with that kind of mentality. As far as a wedding goes, that is still in the plans; Jef just moved to Charlotte.
She did have something to say about his upcoming bachelor party, joking that ideally, it'll take place on "An all men's island where they do a lot of reading."
Not sure about that, Em, but we wouldn't worry about Jef. In other news, ABC is poised to name one of Emily's finalists Sean Lowe The Bachelor this winter.

Blake Lively Wedding Ring: Revealed!

In the week since Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds exchanged vows, their fans have seen next to nothing of the gorgeous, super-private newlyweds ... until now!
Check out this photo that surfaced of the two of them kissing the day after they got married in South Carolina. They look very much happy and in love.
Also, it looks like Blake's wedding ring is not small ...


                     


The ring, which was designed by jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, has not been present in any photos from the set of Gossip Girl, which Blake films in New York.
Then again, Serena's not married ... at least not at the moment.
Coincidentally, a secret wedding involving Blake's character is the rumored plot of the Oct. 8 premiere! Art imitating life? Not really, but fun. Congrats again!

The Voice Shake-Up: Usher and Shakira to Replace Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green?

The Voice Season 3 just got underway, but is there already a casting shake-up in the works for Season 4? According to a new report, at least, there may well be:
Usher and Shakira are replacing Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green.
Alleged insiders say Shakira and Usher would take the place of Christina and Cee Lo alongside Adam Levine and Blake Shelton at the end of the current season.

          


Earlier this month, Aguilera opened up to Ryan Seacrest about the show, admitting she once viewed her job as a coach on The Voice "kind of like a side project."
"[I thought], 'It'll keep me close to my son [Max, 4] in L.A. I don't have to travel," the Grammy winner said. "Then it kind of took off, and there goes my free time!"
The Voice sources say Christina will use her break from the program to focus on tours and promotional duties surrounding the release of her new album, Lotus.
Christina Aguilera's "Your Body", the first single from the upcoming record, is already out. Green, for his part, is currently working with NBC on a new show.
The rumor comes just as speculation surrounding American Idol's revolving door ends: Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban will join Randy Jackson and Mariah Carey as judges.

As she tells TMZ herself, The Real Housewives of Atlanta is expanding Bedroom Kandi to home sales, giving customers a chance to hold sex toy parties in their very own living room.

Lindsay Lohan on Amanda Bynes: Why Isn't SHE in Jail?!

Oft-jailed and always-troubled star Lindsay Lohan wants to know why Amanda Bynes hasn't been placed behind bars for her various driving infractions.
Seriously. Lohan Tweeted this weekend in reference to Bynes: "Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?"
A fair question ... except coming from a train wreck, compulsive liar and career klepto who's committed probation violations too numerous to count.



  


ndsay Lohan either feels she was scapegoated and she should never had gone to jail, or thinks that she got a fair sentence but Bynes should receive the same.
Somehow we're guessing it's the former.
It's worth noting that Lindsay went to jail only because she violated probation (A LOT) stemming from a DUI conviction. Amanda has been convicted of nothing.
Bynes was arrested for DUI in April and had her license suspended after two hit-and-run incidents, but all cases are pending; her car was impounded Sunday.
Lohan went on to add: "These are the moments that I appreciate my life experiences, living without regrets and Disney for supporting me as an actress-night all*"
